What MeetMeat does
MeetMeat is a butcher’s atlas for beef, pork and lamb: where a retail cut comes from, how to cook and serve it, and what to ask for at the counter. Names follow shopper usage (西冷 is striploin, not US sirloin).
Atlas
Choose a species, tap a region on the animal for a primal, then open a retail cut. Search accepts English, Simplified Chinese and Canadian French.
Scan
Use the centre button. Point at package wording or pick a photo. Text is read on-device with Apple Vision. Recent scans stay under Me.
Nearby
Buy nearby uses your location (while using the app) to query Apple Maps and optionally DuckDuckGo. Results are suggestions, not our prices. You may refuse location.
Pork setting
In Muslim-majority countries, pork can hide automatically. Change this under Me. It is not a religious certification.
Permissions
Camera and photos: label text only. Location: shops and the pork rule. Change them in iOS Settings → MeetMeat.
Cooking temperatures
Figures are kitchen guidance, not a substitute for local food-safety rules or a thermometer.

图鉴 / 扫描 / 附近
图鉴：选牛猪羊，点色块看大分割与细分部位。扫描：中间按钮对准标签或选照片，文字在本机识别。附近：用定位查找肉店超市，结果仅供参考。
猪肉与权限
穆斯林人口占多数的国家可自动隐藏猪肉，可在「我的」更改。相机、相册、定位均可在 iOS「设置 → MeetMeat」关闭。

Coupes, scan, autour
Choisissez l’espèce, touchez une zone, ouvrez une coupe. Le bouton central lit l’étiquette sur l’appareil. Autour cherche boucheries et supermarchés via Plans (localisation facultative).
Porc et autorisations
Le porc peut être masqué automatiquement. Caméra, photos et localisation se règlent dans Réglages → MeetMeat.
